I’m trying to freshen up my online presence. My WordPress site is slowly coming back to life. I’m using this post to investigate the ability to automatically cross-post to several social media sites – specifically Facebook, Threads and Mastodon. Maybe I’ll get a Bluesky account too because… it’s a thing. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile on Facebook… I have a page for my sound design work. Looking at the feed provided by Meta’s algorithm is confusing/disappointing. Given my manual selection of pages/sites focused on music and theater, why is it flooding my feed with sports and celebrity posts? I’m spending time manually eliminating most of this “noise” and it will be interesting to see if my “guidance” will actually be used by the algorithm. Stay tuned.
